Joe Rogan is enjoying a lavish vacation in Venice, Italy, aboard the 217-foot, $50 million megayacht Okto, carrying along his seldom-seen wife Jessica Ditzel and their children.
The 57-year-old “Joe Rogan Experience” host and 49-year-old Ditzel were photographed on the yacht’s sleek deck off the coast of Venice on Monday.
Their teen daughters, 16-year-old Lola and 14-year-old Rosy, joined the outing, while it remains unclear if their 28-year-old adopted daughter Kayja was on board.
Married since 2009, Rogan and Ditzel were seen lounging on the expansive dock, soaking in the sunshine and the stunning Italian vistas.
The couple appeared relaxed as they shared food and drinks, clearly relishing some uninterrupted family time.
Equipped with an infinity pool and its own theater, the ultra-private Okto ranks among the most exclusive charter yachts, with a weekly rate of about $640,000.
Despite his previous anti-marriage stance, Rogan explained he wed Ditzel after their first child’s birth because “she made a baby” – a commitment he felt outweighed any legal vows.
In an interview with the Palm Beach Post, he said that her choice to bring a child into the world represented a deeper pledge than signing any document.
On the Lex Fridman Podcast, Rogan praised Ditzel as eternally cheerful, disciplined, dedicated and fun – someone who “is always smiling.”
Although he keeps his family life private, Rogan admitted he struggles emotionally if he’s away from home for more than three days.
He’s called parenthood “the greatest human privilege,” noting that having children transformed him on many levels.
Describing Kayja as both a daughter and a friend, Rogan highlighted their open conversations about everything from boys to life in general.
He wrapped up by lauding Lola as a “phenomenal athlete,” expressing his pride in her sporting achievements.
